Homesick

I haven't been making any posts recently. I either don't have the motivation or don't have anything to post.

But that's ok, because I'm pretty sure that nobody actually looks at this blog.

And that's ok too.

But, I do have inspiration now an something to post about, but I'm stuck with only my iPod to take pictures with and to write with. But I'll survive, my photos just aren't going to be the same quality.

But that's ok.

I'm on a trip to Colorado right now with my extended family. It's really very beautiful here, and I love the town we are staying at.

It's a small town, the year round population is less than the population of my middle school. Everybody is very nice and the town itself is beautiful, with wilderness for miles around.

We got here a few days ago, and it was a few days of driving to get here, through Navada and Utah. We stopped at Zion national park and Arches national park, and saw a lot of spectacular rocks.

To get to this town, we had to drive in on a dirt road through miles and miles of beautiful forest.

We've gone fishing at two beautiful lakes and seen a stage of the US Pro Cycling Challenge while here.

So it's been a good trip so far, but I also miss home (yeah, already. It's only been a few days) I miss my dog and my bed. I miss my friends (I really really miss my friends). I miss having the peace and quiet of my own room, and I miss being able to get up in the middle of the night for a midnight snack. I miss living with three other people instead of seventeen other people. I miss having people my own age to talk to.

But I know that when I leave, I will miss the wide open spaces and the small town and the clean air. So I'm enjoying this while I can, and all of that stuff will be there for me when I get back.
